So if you have been around for a little bit, you know that our agency is moving forward with our family as Rosie’s permanency plan.  There is still a lot of things that need to happen at court but as long as no major changes happen, sweet Rosie will be a part of our family forever.
Every time I get disappointing news, I lean into God’s promise to me. I am trusting in Him for her future with our family.  He can, He will, and even if He doesn’t.  This is a phrase my father in law said one Sunday morning in a sermon and it has always stuck with me.
So with that, I have decided to start planning for her adoption celebration, as I can only hope to stay with the only family she has ever known…is God’s plan for her.
When you adopt a baby or a child you miss out on the baby shower or “meet the baby” party.  I still think these little lives are just as important to celebrate with a little party! My sister so graciously has offered to host Rosie’s adoption party/baby shower/welcome to the crazy family party!!!
Of course, I want to make this super special for her.  This has been a long time coming and she is, of course, worth the wait!
I try to live a more minimal life and go paperless as much as I can but special occasions like this require special details.

Starting with the stationary.

I have decided to go with Basic Invite to order the invitations and adoption announcements.

What I love about Basic Invite is you can order custom samples!

Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows you the ability to order a printed sample of your actual invitation
so you can see exactly how it will print, as well as the paper quality before you ever have to place your final order. Seeing a few samples in person helped me to select the perfect options to celebrate our little Rosie.

They are also one of the few websites that allows you almost unlimited color options with instant previews
online. Once you select a design, you can change the color of each element on the card to over 180 different color options, so you can make sure the card is exactly how you want it down to the smallest detail.
I think this is an amazing feature of Basic Invite, I had so much fun trying the endless color combos and I have never had this experience on other stationary sites.

Speaking of colors… Basic Invite is just as colorful with the envelopes as they are with the invitations! I could choose
from over 40 different colors when it came to their envelopes, so I could make my invitation stand out even before it is opened.

All of the envelopes are peel and seal so the envelopes can be quickly and securely closed. There are also beautiful designs for the inside of the envelope from floral, to monogrammed, to personalized sayings.  I love how unique this is and I haven’t seen it before!

Another cool feature about Basic Invite  is they offer an address capturing service that allows customers to simply share a link on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or any other form of social media to request their friends and family’s addresses which will be stored in the customer’s account and can then be selected during the design process.
(Basic Invite offers recipient
address printing at no cost on all Christmas card orders.)
I was playing around with so many designs, I especially loved the owl baby shower invitations and the foil options!
Foil cards are available in gold, silver, and rose gold. You can choose flat or raised foil on all of Basic Invite’s foil designs.

The co-ed section for baby showers was perfect to inspire ideas as I think our adoption shower will be co-ed because there are a few special men in Rosie’s life and I want to make sure are there to celebrate too!
They offer sales on the various stationary at different times so check out their social media for promotions and discount codes!

They have a card for every major moment! So even if you are not planning an adoption shower like myself, check out the website for the perfect stationary for your special event! Their website was super user-friendly and I cannot wait to order all of Rosie’s special stationary.
